Foster's Bio

Foster has a very impressive Bio.   First, some recent information about Foster.

Foster participated in two Pro Days:  One at Temple University and the other at Slippery Rock University.

After these Pro Days, Foster was invited to work out with the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants. 

 

He also was invited to work out with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL ("Canadian Football League").

Foster's Accomplishments:

Foster's accomplishments are many and quite impressive.  Most of these are highlighted below:

College Accomplishments:

  • Played in every game as a true freshman.

  • Started every game as a sophomore, junior and senior.

  • Led the entire conference my junior season in interceptions and pass breakups.

  • Was named special teams and defensive player of the week three times during my career.

  • Was named Team Captain my senior year,

  • named First Team All Conference,

  • named Pennslyvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar Athlete every year,

  • received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award.


High School accomplishments: 

  • Four-year starter, served as a team captain during junior and senior year, was a three-star running back,

  • ranking fourth in Pennsylvania,

  • selected to the ESPN Radio Sweet 16 All-Star Team as an all-purpose back,

  • received the U.S. Marines Distinguished Athlete Award,

  • was a three-time all-region first-team selection as a running back and defensive back,

  • named a Big 33 Prospect as a junior and senior, selected to the ESPN Radio Sweet 16 All-Star Team as an all-purpose back,

  • named to the Butler Eagle Terrific 22 twice as a running back,

  • was a Butler Eagle Player of the Year finalist,

  • received the 2013-14 Frank Jiggs Wolford Award for outstanding performance and leadership,

  • earned Erie Times-News Breakout Player of the Week honors after Grove City’s first-round playoff game,

  • was a three-time State Farm Insurance Player of the Game during his senior campaign,

  • earned preseason all-state accolades twice as an offensive specialist,

  • named National Underclassmen Running Back MVP, Wide Receiver MVP and Team MVP,

  • produced 2,941 rushing yards, 731 receiving yards, 4,804 all-purpose yards, 11 interceptions, 128 tackles and 54 touchdowns

  • during his career, rushed for 913 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior, caught 13 passes for 229 yards and four touchdowns

  • during his final season, recorded 47 total tackles, 26 solo tackles, four interceptions, two tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries

  • as a senior, helped Grove City produce a 36-9 record during his career,

  • was part of a district championship team as a sophomore, won three consecutive region championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior,

  • played with the top scoring offense in Pennsylvania as a sophomore,

  • was a three-sport athlete, participating in basketball and track,

  • named to the honor roll.
